The MKIII integrates all functions of an HFDR (signal generation, power amplification, reception, analog-to-digital conversion, and data logging) in a single, field-deployable enclosure, directly powered by DC batteries from solar panels and wind generators. It alleviate the need for expensive container and air-conditioning, further bringing down the cost of HFDR operations. |
