Calibration

  • connect FWD port of PA with 10 dB attenuator, to central port of 16-way splitter box
   +47dBm - 40 dB - 50 dB = -53 dBm
  • connect each 16 port of splitter box, to antenna channel input
  • access master DDS with screen /dev/ttyUSB3 19200, and set it to zero-ramp chirp with FD 0.000000000000 (exactly 12 0 after decimal point). If the DDS are correctly set up, there is now exactly 80 Hz offset between primary and secondary
  • enable calibration mode on DDS by inserting BNC 50 Ohm attenuator
