1. Checklist
- Check integrity of enclosure hardware:
- All screws secured on power supply:
- All screws secured on backplanes:
- All screws secured on all receiver boards:
- Type-N back panel connectors well tightened:
- Eight antenna cables identical length:
- Two LO cables identical length:
- DC input ferrites on bottom of baseplate front and back:
- secure with ferrite cores as in DDS.
- Loop excess wire through rear ferrite.
- +12v jumper wire on back of LO backplane:

2. Power supply measurements
Use the large B&K bench power supply only.
Parallel mode, tracking.
Load on right-side terminals.
Right side readout set to volts, left side to amps.
Set voltage to 12.5 volts, no load. Current limit mid-range.
Turn on receiver. Turn up current limit until the voltage comes back up to 12.5 volts (with some headroom).
Note: to read current, you must temporarily read the current on the right supply and add that to the reading on the left).
