The Ocean Atlas of Hawai'i is a description of the ocean around Hawai'i - marine climate, water properties, currents, tides, waves. We are aiming at providing a primary reference for the general public - whether your interest is surfing, sport fishing, yachting, swimming, or simple curiosity, but also for the professional - fishermen, beach guards, civil defence, ship operators.

We are aware that, despite our efforts, some scientic jargon found its way into the text, and we need your help to replace it by plain, common-sense descriptions. So please, send us your review: what you liked, what you did not like, what you wish we had explained better, what you could not find. We are interested in hearing any suggestions that you might have for improving this service.
